Wisam Al-Mutawalli, MBCHB

Dr. Al-Mutawalli graduated from Mosul University in Iraq; he went on to practice medicine for 9 years before immigrating to the United States. After graduating from the Upstate Family and Preventive Medicine Residency in 2024 with a board certification in Family Medicine, he decided to stay in Upstate, NY to give back to the community which helped him to train to be a physician in the United States. He enjoys seeing patients of all age groups. He has a passion for teaching new and future doctors through his work as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine for the residency program he graduated from. Outside of work, he enjoys taking scenic routes to see the beautiful landscape Central New York has to offer. He also enjoys traveling abroad, immersing himself in diverse cultures and countries. 

Payton Hannon, FNP-C

Payton specializes in Family Medicine, Acute & Chronic Disease Management, and Preventative Care, treating patients across the lifespan. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Upstate Medical University and completed a Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program through Bassett Healthcare Network. She is also a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association, Sigma Theta Tau International (Pi Psi Chapter), and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Dainelle Kich, FNP-BC, DNP

Dainelle is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She treats patients of all ages and backgrounds focusing on preventative medicine and managing chronic and acute conditions. Dainelle also has a special interest in women’s health and gender affirming care.

John Sprey, FNP

John is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. In his previous position, he provided primary care services for pediatric patients aged 0-21. Before his career as a Nurse Practitioner, he worked as an ED and ICU nurse in the CNY area. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in nursing at Johns Hopkins University, graduating in 2011, and did his Nurse Practitioner training at Upstate Medical University, graduating in 2020. When not seeing patients at Township 5, he can usually be found kayaking in the Finger Lakes or practicing tai chi.
