Alessia Field, MD

Dr. Alessia Field graduated medical school, magnum cum lade from St. George’s University, Grenada in 2020. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Medical in 2024 and subsequently joined the Department of OB/GYN at SUNY Upstate Medical University as a Clinical Assistant Professor.  Her clinical interests include: minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, family planning, and health equity. 

Emma Patello

Dr. Emma Patello graduated magna cum laude from Carroll College in Helena, Montana in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in 2022 and subsequently joined SUNY Upstate Medical University to complete her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Upon graduating from the OB/GYN residency program, Dr. Patello remained at SUNY Upstate and joined the department faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor, effective September 8^th, 2026.

Grace Trompeter, MD, MSPH

Dr. Grace Trompeter joined SUNY Upstate Medical University, Department of OB/GYN effective September 1, 2026. Dr. Trompeter received her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from SUNY Geneseo in 2013 and a Master of Science in Public Health from the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2015. She completed medical school, graduating cum lade in 2020, and residency training in 2024 at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Trompeter completed a General Obstetrics and Gynecology Research Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in June 2026. Her clinical interests include family planning, carceral care, and minimally invasive surgery.
